ps2의 기반이 리눅스였기 때문에, 소니에서도 ps2의 가능성을 어필하기 위해 리눅스 킷을 따로 발매한적도 있습니다. 단지 없다시피한 램과 ps2의 구조 덕분에 사실상 할 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없었지만요..
